Reference Services

The Vermont State Archives, a division within the Secretary of State's Office, is located at Redstone in Montpelier. You are welcome to visit our reading room between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. each business day. You may e-mail State Archivist Greg Sanford (gsanford@sec.state.vt.us) for details.

Photocopying is available as time permits and our small staff is available on an informal basis to help guide your research. (See the official Fee Schedule for copying public records). We also have a public computer terminal affording access to this web site and to ARCCAT, the Vermont archives and manuscripts catalog.
