BRUCE J. HYDE of Fayston, Washington County, Republican, was born in Paterson, New Jersey on July 2, 1953, and became a resident of Fayston in 1987. Occupation: owner of inn and restaurant. He was educated in elementary schools in Closter, New Jersey; Northern Valley Regional High School, Demarest, New Jersey; Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania (B.S. Biology, 1975); William Paterson State College, Wayne, New Jersey. He is married to Margaret Ann DeFoor, and they have two sons.
