JASON A. BARNEY of Highgate, Franklin County, Republican, was born in St. Albans, Vermont on July 10, 1976 and has been a lifelong resident of present town. Occupation: substitute teacher. He was educated in elementary schools in Highgate, Vermont; Missisquoi Valley Union High School, Swanton, Vermont; College of St. Joseph, Rutland, Vermont (Degree in History, 1997; Dean's list, Fall '95, Spring '96). Member of: St. Louis Church; Rutland County Young Republicans, former chair; College of St. Joseph, former student government president, student ambassador, accreditation, guidance, and admissions advisory committees.
