ROBERT G. HELM of Castleton, Rutland County, Republican, was born in Canandaqua, New York on October 28, 1949 and became a resident of present town in 1950. Occupation: self-employed landscaper. He is married to Caren L. Helm, and they have two daughters and one son. He was educated in elementary school in Fair Haven, graduated from Fair Haven Union High School, Fair Haven, Vermont and attended Concord Commercial College, Manchester, New Hampshire (Associates Degree, 1972). Member of: American Legion; Disabled American Veterans; VFW; Vietnam Veterans of America; Rotary; Board of Selectmen; U.S.M.C.; NRA, life member. ARTHUR D. PRATT of Castleton, Rutland County, Republican, was born on June 2, 1933 in Clarendon, Vermont and became a resident of present town in 1965. Occupation: self-employed, firewood business. He was educated at Clarendon Flats School, Clarendon, Vermont; Wallingford High School, Wallingford, Vermont; Castleton State College, Castleton, Vermont (B.S. Education, 1969); College of Saint Joseph the Provider, Rutland, Vermont (M.A. in Education, 1979). He has two daughters and three sons.
