JOYCE M. BARBIERI of Wallingford, Rutland County, Democrat, was born in Rutland, Vermont on September 28, 1948 and became a resident of present town in October, 1976. Occupation: Wallingford town clerk/treasurer. She was educated at Park Street School, Rutland, Vermont; St. Peter's School, Rutland, Vermont; Mt. St. Joseph's Academy, Rutland, Vermont; Community College of Vermont, Rutland, Vermont (Associates in Business Management, 1995). She is married to Michael R. Barbieri, and they have one daughter, Marissa Rose. Member of: Vermont Clerk's and Treasurer's Association (past treasurer); Certified Vermont Treasurer, 1993; Certified Vermont Clerk, 1992; town treasurer, 1984-present; town clerk, 1987-present; delinquent tax collector, 1994; Wallingford Historical Society, president; Whitcomb's Independent Corps of Rangers, 1975-present; Governor's Task Force on Current Use, 1996.
