Registration is effective for a term of ten years, renewable upon application and a fee of $10.00, filed within the six month period preceding the expiration of the original registration.

Title to any trademark and its registration may be transferred and assigned to any person together with the goodwill of the business to which trademark pertains. A written assignment, with a fee of $10.00, must be recorded with the Secretary of State. A new certificate will be issued in the name of the new assignee.
