Vermont's Young Adults Are Opting Out!

Vermont has one of the lowest youth voter turnouts in the nation, with only 26% of 18 to 24 year olds choosing to participate.

To help ensure that our next generation of citizens will be active participants in democracy, Secretary of State Deb Markowitz has brought together members of Vermont's education community with government, business and civic leaders to bring to our schools
Kid Voting Vermont.

Let's Teach Our Kids the Value of Voting!

Kids Voting Vermont provides teachers, K-12, with exciting program enhancements and curriculum materials designed to teach our children the importance of government and the value of voting. Students who participate in Kids Voting Vermont learn about the election process and then cast their ballots along side adults on Election Day.
