DONALD R. BRUNELLE of Winooski, Chittenden County, Republican, was born in Burlington, Vermont on July 1, 1937. He is a life long resident of Winooski. Occupation: retired, former project manager, IBM. He was educated at St. Francis Xavier, Winooski, Vermont; Bellows Free Academy, Fairfax, Vermont; Winooski High School, Winooski, Vermont; and Trinity College, Burlington, Vermont (B.S. Business, 1986). He is married to the former Elveta Maietta, and they have one son and one daughter. Member of: Winooski City Council, 4 years; Mayor of Winooski, 6 years; Winooski School Board, 3 years; Winooski Democratic Committee, chair, 4 years; Winooski Republican Committee; chair, 2 years; USAA; AARP; Knights of Columbus; National Guard Association; Vermont National Guard Association; Massachusetts National Guard Association; American Legion. He has also served with the U.S. Army Reserve National Guard attaining the post of 26th (Yankee) Infantry Division Commander and the rank of Major General. LUCILLE M. CASAVANT of Winooski, Chittenden County, Democrat, was born in Lewiston, Maine on November 12, 1935 and became a resident of Winooski in June, 1956. She graduated from St. Dominic High School, Lewiston, Maine; attended Trinity College in Burlington, Vermont. She is married to Dominique Casavant, and they have one daughter, three sons and five grandchildren. She is secretary of the Winooski City Democratic committee. Member of: Chittenden County Democratic committee; Winooski Community Development Corporation; Winooski Historical Society; volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
