JOHN V. LABARGE of Grand Isle, Grand Isle County, Republican, was born in Burlington, Vermont on January 20, 1952 and became a resident of present town in 1975. Occupation: self employed small business owner since 1984. He was educated in elementary schools in Burlington, Vermont; Burlington High School, Burlington, Vermont; University of Vermont, Burlington, Vermont. He is married to the former Ann K. Casey of Rye, New York, and they have two daughters and one son. Member of: South Hero Players, current president; Grand Isle Rotary, former member; Flying club, founder and former president; former Grand Isle school board member; Grand Isle School Building Committee, co-chair; former justice of the peace; served as a member of a special education study committee put together by Lieutenant Governor Barbara Snelling in 1995.
