ALLEN C. PALMER of Pownal, Bennington County, Republican, was born on June 2, 1955 in Bennington, Vermont and has been a lifelong resident of Pownal. Occupation: construction supervisor. He was educated at Pownal elementary, Pownal, Vermont; Mount Anthony Union High School, Bennington, Vermont; Southern Vermont College Bennington, Vermont (B.S., 1997). He is married to the former Cheryl H. Bracht, and they have a daughter and a son. Member of: Mount Anthony Masonic Lodge; Ceiro Shrine Temple. He is a justice of the peace.
