Hello, and welcome to the
Vermont Secretary of State’s Home Page!

The Office of the Secretary of State is composed of four divisions: Archives, Corporations, Elections and the Office of Professional Regulation. We are the custodians of government records for Vermont. Our responsibility is to preserve and provide access to these records to the public and to act as a toolshed of information on everything from notary certification to corporate records. Our goal is to make these records easily accessible to you in an accurate and timely manner. Please let us know how we are doing and what we can do to improve our web site.
