NANCY J. SHELTRA of Derby, Orleans County, Republican, was born in Newport, Vermont on July 30, 1948. She was educated in elementary schools in East Albany, Vermont; graduated from Orleans High School, Orleans, Vermont and attended Community College of Vermont in Newport, Vermont. She is certified as an L.N.A. (licensed nurse assistant). She is the mother of two sons. ROBERT T. WALKER of Brownington, Orleans County, Democrat, was born in Newport, Vermont on July 7, 1937 and became a resident of present town in 1984. Occupation: Christmas tree farmer. He was educated in elementary and high schools in Newport, Vermont; Lyndon State College, Lyndon, Vermont (B.S., 1964). He is married to the former Alicia Fellows, and they have one daughter and two sons. Member of: Lions Club; Orleans Rod and Gun Club; Ducks Unlimited; NH/VT Christmas Tree Association, marketing board; Barton Crime Stoppers, board of directors; Barton Chamber of Commerce.
