            PATRICIA P. SMITH           


PATRICIA P. SMITH of Sudbury, Rutland County, Democrat, was born in Brooklyn, New York and became a resident of present town in 1976. Occupation: Sudbury town clerk and treasurer (CMC) since 1982. She is the district treasurer for the Sudbury school district and was elected a Justice of the Peace in 1998. She graduated from St. Petersburg High School, St. Petersburg, Florida; University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida (A.S., 1974); Vermont College at Norwich University, Norwich, Vermont (B.S., 1991). She has two sons and two granddaughters. Member of: Vermont Municipal Clerks' and Treasurers' Association, auditor, past vice president; New England Association of Town Clerks, executive board; International Institute of Municipal Clerks; Habitat for Humanity; The Nature Conservancy; Vermont Wildland Foundation; Sudbury Historical Society.
