Certificates of Good Standing

You may occasionally need to obtain a Certificate of Good Standing from our office. The fee for the certificate is $5.

Copies of Documents

Occasionally, a corporation or its officers, directors, shareholders, creditors, or others will want copies of documents on file in our office. The fee for certified copies is $1 per page for the document and $5 for the certification.

Service of Process

The registered agent is the corporation's agent for service of process. However, whenever a corporation fails to appoint or maintain a registered agent or whenever its registered agent cannot with reasonable diligence be found, the Secretary of State may be served as agent for that corporation.

A fee of $10 is charged when the Secretary of State accepts service of process on behalf of a corporation.
